“I created this montage of images during our tour of Yad Vashem. Notebook in hand, I was emotionally drawn to all the personal treasures, documents, pictures left behind to memorialize those who were lost in the Holocaust. As we walked through the Children’s Memorial, the Art Museum, and the Garden of the Righteous Among the Nations, I captured isolated details of the many stories along our tour, attempting to create one deeply felt human story on paper.”
