2011 Echoes and Reflections Professors’ Study Tour

The 2011 Echoes and Reflections Professors’ Study Tour program included lectures from world–renowned scholars, an examination of Echoes and Reflections, and tours of Yad Vashem, Jerusalem, and Israel.

Participants listened to lectures on the rise of modern antisemitism in Europe and in the modern world, Nazi racial ideology, and literary responses to the Holocaust. Participants also had the opportunity to study the philosophy, organization, format, and multimedia components of Echoes and Reflections through hands–on exploration of select activities and lessons from the curriculum.
